Renovation of a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 21,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; and 21,000-square-foot, three-story above grade office development.
The project consists of the renovation of 334 Furman Street within Brooklyn Bridge Park to create new office space for the Park's Administration Team and a state-of-the-art public Education Center. The program covers approximately 21,000 RSF across three levels. The first floor houses the education center, with the main building entrance, a new interconnecting stair, new elevator, interactive learning spaces, classrooms, family restrooms, and support spaces. The second and third floors are designated for workspace and include open work areas, private offices, small to large conference rooms, a work cafe, open collaboration spaces, a wellness room, and gender-neutral restrooms. The renovation also features significant base building upgrades, including building systems, a new sprinkler system, HVAC, renovated windows, roof, and building access.
