The project consists generally of relocating two existing dual port EV chargers and demolishing existing branch circuits and pedestals, installing a new 600A, 120/208V, 3-phase, 4-wire electrical service at the parking lot, and installing two new and two relocated dual port EV chargers fed from the new electrical service. The new dual port EV chargers will be provided by the owner and installed by the electrical contractor. An alternate bid is included for providing, instead, four new dual port EV chargers with the contractor turning over the existing EV chargers to the owner for salvage. Bidders must provide evidence of being licensed to perform the work as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87, and comply with all requirements in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must also supply company name, contact person, street address, phone number, email, NC contractor's license with limitation and classification, and indicate if the firm will be a prime bidder, supplier, or sub-contractor. Participation of Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) businesses is encouraged, and prime contractors must identify MWBE participation in their bid and how that participation will be achieved. QA date - 4-28-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing only. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer, in response to such questions, will be issued by Addenda to all plan holders registered with the Issuing Office. Questions received less than [7] working days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding.
