Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The City of Raleigh intends to improve Buffaloe Road Athletic Park Track and Field facilities. Improvements involve removal of existing asphalt track and portions of subgrade. Replacement with additional subgrade materials and new asphalt track with latex synthetic surfacing. The project also includes the removal of existing turf and replacement with new artificial turf with drainage system. The project also includes new fencing, two shade structures, additional storage space, and accommodation for multiple programs. Bidders will be required to show evidence that they are licensed to perform the work in the Bidding Documents as required by North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87 and the Instruction to Bidders. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders.
