Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project is for improvements to Buffaloe Road Athletic Park Track and Field facilities. The work consists of removing the existing asphalt track and portions of subgrade, replacing with new subgrade materials and a new asphalt track with latex synthetic surfacing. It also includes removing existing turf and installing new artificial turf with a drainage system. Additional components are new fencing, two shade structures, extra storage space, and accommodations for multiple programs. Bidders must show evidence of licensing per North Carolina statutes. Bid Security of five percent of the Bid is required. Participation of certified Minority and Woman-Owned Business Enterprises is encouraged, with a goal of fifteen percent participation for construction projects over $300,000 or contracts with $100,000 or more in state funding. Requests for Bidding Documents require company and contact information, contractor’s license, and indication of bid role (Prime, Supplier, or Sub-Contractor).
