Site work for a civil project in Cullman, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Project: Scott Drive Sewer Extension. Construction of approximately 3,500 LF of 8" gravity sewer mains, 24 concrete manholes, one duplex submersible lift station with above ground valves, approximately 2,200 LF of 4" force main, site work, electrical service, and all related items for a complete sewer installation. The project must be completed in 180 calendar days. Bidders are required to submit their bid on the provided Bid Form and must include the bid bond and E-Verify documents at the time of bid. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the name and address of the bidder, the bidder's General Contractor's license number, the project name, and bid date. Bidders are instructed not to submit the full contract documents and specifications book with the bid. Only bidders with the Municipal and Utility construction classification as listed in the roster of the Alabama State Licensing Board for General Contractors will be considered. Bids must be irrevocable for 60 calendar days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids. The project objectives for utilization of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women's Business Enterprises (WBEs) are as follows: Commodities (Supplies) MBE 4% WBE 11% Contractual (Services) MBE 8% WBE 30% Equipment MBE 5% WBE 20% Construction MBE 2.5% WBE 3%
