Renovation of an educational facility in Roxbury, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested to furnish labor and materials for Mechanical Construction work at Roxbury Central School, specifically for the installation of building control systems on the existing building hot water loop. The work site is located at 53729 State Highway 30, Roxbury, New York. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for 5% of the base bid amount. A performance bond and payment bond will be required from the successful bidder, each for the full contract price. The successful bidder must comply with New York State prevailing wage requirements and maintain the construction site as drug-free, alcohol-free, tobacco-free, and weapon-free. Compliance with Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, Part 155, is also mandatory. Bids must be submitted at the specified time, date, and address. Late bids will be returned unopened. Bids may not be withdrawn for 45 days after the opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept any bid deemed to be in its best interest. Any questions must be submitted in writing using the provided RFI form to the architect contact; verbal questions will not be considered. Receipt of any addenda to the contract documents must be acknowledged on the bid form.
