The project involves the Citywide Pavement Repair and Rehabilitation Program 2026 Project, CIP 2026-01. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for asphalt patching, asphalt overlay, concrete work, traffic control, and all related and necessary tasks as defined in the contract documents. Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, cash deposit, or bidder's bond for at least 10 percent of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Contractors are required to possess a valid Class "A" license and comply with California Department of Industrial Relations requirements for public works, including prevailing wage and certified payroll reporting. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the DIR throughout the project duration. Contract documents are available at the City's website or the City Clerk's Office. Bidders must notify the City to be listed as a plan holder by written notice.
