Site work for a water / sewer project in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of June 15, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. The project consists of extending sanitary sewer along Hollywood Road for 2,700 feet south from Glenlord Road. Included in the project are the removal and replacement of HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt), installation of sanitary sewer leads, traffic control, restoration, and various appurtenances. Bidders are required to submit a certified check or bank draft on a solvent bank in Michigan payable to the owner, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 120 days after the scheduled closing time. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Award is subject to final approval.
