Services to be provided include mowing and trimming of all grass areas within the cemetery boundaries, trimming around all headstones, trees, fences, and structures every other week, and clearing grass clippings from headstones, walkways, and drives. Services must be performed at intervals sufficient to ensure the cemetery remains neat at all times, such as weekly or as needed. Mandatory completion of mowing is required prior to Memorial Day and Labor Day. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Cemetery Lawn Services Bid" and must include either a per-mow price or total seasonal contract price, a list of equipment to be used, a list of staff who will be performing the work, proof of Liability Insurance and Workers' Compensation Insurance, and references for previous commercial or municipal mowing work. The Village of Bloomington reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and select the bidder that best serves the public interest.
