The project consists of complete street reconstruction, including street excavation and grading, new curb and gutter, sidewalks, water line, storm sewer, and asphalt paving. Bids will be received on a unit price basis as outlined in the bid documents, and lump sum only bids for the entire project will not be accepted. Bids must be signed and submitted on the provided bidding forms, sealed in the provided envelope, and accompanied by a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount or a certified or cashier's check not less than 10% of the bid amount, subject to conditions in the instructions. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond for 100% of the bid. All contractors and sub-contractors are to, as much as practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements, Federal Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates, encouragement of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises utilization, various insurance requirements, Build America, Buy America (BABA) Acknowledgement, and Section 3 Requirements is required.
