Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Runaway Bay, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The chlorine building houses two chlorine gas cylinders and a chlorinator that feeds the chlorine contact basin at the package plant. Work includes ventilation improvements and structural modifications to the building for the ventilation system, sink replacement, and electrical improvements. The objective is to provide code-compliant mechanical ventilation, replace the existing sink, and replace deteriorated interior electrical components: 1. Architectural: Remove interior drywall sheathing, install mineral wood insulation, and install fiberglass reinforced wall panels. Remove doors and replace the exterior door. 2. Structural: Provide structural modifications and support as needed for ventilation, plumbing, and electrical upgrades. 3. Heating, Ventilation & Plumbing: Replace the existing utility sink. Provide heaters for freeze protection. Provide a code-compliant mechanical ventilation system includingsupply fan and relief louver. Provide exterior emergency eyewash/shower station, concrete pad, and water supply. Size equipment to meet applicable TCEQ requirements for enclosed chlorine gas rooms. Locate intake and exhaust openings. Provide local controls. 4. Electrical & Controls: Replace deteriorated exterior and interior electrical components such as lighting, receptacles, and conduit within the chlorine building. Provide power for ventilation equipment. CONSTRUCTION OF UTILITIES A. Existing utilities will be used for this Project. Coordinate with others performing Work associated with this Project. B. Power and Electrical Services: 1. The City of Runaway Bay will provide permanent power connections for the Site through the power utility unless indicated otherwise in the Contract Documents. 2.
