Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rodeo, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Hercules invites proposals from qualified contractors to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment required for the 2026 Restriping Contract No. 1. The work primarily takes place along streets peripheral to Redwood and Lupine Roads, in portions of the Hercules by the Bay neighborhood, including crosswalks on Sycamore Avenue between Creekside and Refugio Valley Road, with some scattered additions. The scope is further detailed in specific exhibits. Each proposal must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope using the provided forms, including a Proposal and Proposal Price Schedule. The Base Bid must include a total price for restriping services at specified locations, covering all direct and indirect costs, including labor, equipment, materials, transportation, management, permits, taxes, insurance, and profit. An Additive Alternate price must also be included for additional locations, with the same cost considerations. Each proposal must list a markup percentage for compensation paid on a time and materials basis for additional or authorized services. Proposers must have a current California Contractor's C-32 license, be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations, and meet the City's requirements for prevention of nepotism and cronyism, as well as compliance with the California Equal Pay Act. Proposers are responsible for reviewing the full RFP, site locations, and are encouraged to submit any questions in writing before the stated deadline. All proposals are evaluated based on pricing, markup percentage, and criteria listed in the documents, with weighted emphasis on overall cost and value to the City. Faxed or emailed proposals are not accepted; late submissions may be returned unopened. Proposers are responsible for all costs associated with preparation and submittal.
