Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment and perform all work necessary for roof rehabilitation at Troy Municipal Airport at N. Kenneth Campbell Field. Major items of work include roof replacement on the box hangar. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five percent of the total amount of the bid, not to exceed $50,000, by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Troy. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or the bid will not be received or considered. The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying the license number on the outside of the envelope in which the proposal is delivered. Bids may be held by the City of Troy for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to the award of contract. The award of contract is subject to requirements in the contract documents, including but not limited to Buy American Preference, Title VI Assurances, Davis Bacon Requirements, Debarment and Suspension, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Lobbying Federal Employees (for contracts over $100,000), Prohibition of Covered Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and Recovered Materials. The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
