Renovation of a water / sewer project in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work consists of removing 4 Type B Fenders and 6 Type A Fenders from Terminals 2 and 3, and rehabilitating 5 Type B Fenders and 7 Type A Fenders. This includes demolishing corroded fender framing; preparing existing fenders for repair; furnishing and installing prefabricated coated steel framing with UHMW panels; installing salvaged UHMW panels where missing; installing primary fender elements where damaged or missing; furnishing 1200 linear feet of 22-inch coated steel piling; splicing piling to provide 10 120-foot long coated steel pin piles; driving 22 pin piles; resetting 4 Type B Fenders and 7 Type A Fenders; and related work as shown on the drawings and specified in the technical specifications. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, Invitation to Bid number, title, and buyer's name clearly written. Only paper bids are accepted; faxed or emailed bids will not be considered. All questions must be submitted in writing before the specified deadline. Bidders should reference the Invitation to Bid number and project title in any communications. Any changes to the bidding documents will be made by addendum, and it is the bidder's responsibility to check for addenda. Bids must be submitted before the opening time specified; late bids will not be considered. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding. Contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest responsive bid, unless otherwise stated.
