Site work for a water / sewer project in Herculaneum, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, and equipment and performing all operations necessary for the repair of existing or construction of new stone river training structures, including revetments, notching, removal of existing structures, and all appurtenant work in accordance with the specifications and applicable drawings. The project includes modifying and constructing river training structures using recycled stone recovered from existing structures. A total of 44 existing structures will be modified, and two new structures will be constructed entirely from recycled stone material. Dike modification generally involves degradation, removal, and/or relocation of Graded Stone A with a 5,000-pound top size. Furnishment of new stone material is not required. The work is anticipated to be performed using traditional river marine construction equipment, including floating plant and barge-mounted cranes. Location: Mississippi River near Herculaneum, Missouri and Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, across two separate ten-mile river reaches.
