Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Herculaneum, Missouri. Completed plans call civil work for a sidewalk / parking lot and water / sewer project.
The Scope of Work includes the removal and replacement of 108 feet of 18” ADS HDPE Storm Sewer, 360 square yards of concrete pavement replacement, and all other incidental items and work described in the Drawings, Specifications, and/or other Contract Documents, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Bid packages are distributed electronically at no cost. Bidders must provide company name, contact, phone number, complete address, and email to be added to the Plan Holders List. Only those on the Plan Holders List will receive addenda. Project and bidding questions are to be submitted exclusively via email by the specified deadline. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The wage rates have been predetermined as required by law. No business entity or employer shall knowingly employ or continue to employ an unauthorized alien to perform work within the state. The successful bidder is required to submit a sworn affidavit and documentation regarding federal work authorization and employment status of their workers. Contractors and subcontractors must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for their on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities.
