Demolition and renovation of a mixed-use development in Newport, Oregon. Working plans call for the renovation of a office development; laboratory facility; for the demolition of a laboratory facility; and office development.

The work consists of a full generator replacement at Building 950/951 at the Hatfield Marine Science Center (HMSC), as well as connecting Building 900 to the MSIB generator. The first scope includes replacing one generator at Building 950/951, which involves demolishing the existing CMU structure and generator, and installing a new fully enclosed generator and associated tank, with complete removal of the existing system and reinstallation of the new system. The second scope, to be awarded if budget allows, includes re-energizing the emergency circuits in Building 900 by utilizing an extra circuit from the MSIB generator, trenching and repairing existing AC, tying in old emergency panels, and adding new emergency circuits. Bids will not be accepted from firms without documented attendance. Bidders must examine the site to ascertain its physical conditions and be fully informed about the materials listed.
