Site work for a development in Norfolk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a conservation development.
Qualified contractors are invited to submit a Proposal for the construction of the North Brook Trail Project located in Norfolk, Connecticut. The project includes building an ADA-compliant compacted aggregate trail along the existing CNE railbed. The finished trail will be approximately 4,300 linear feet and will feature a 9-space parking lot, 275 linear feet of boardwalk on helical piles, and various culvert crossings. Funding will come partly from a grant provided by the CTDEEP Connecticut Recreational Trails Grant. Sealed bids should be addressed to the First Selectman for the North Brook Trail Project, Town of Norfolk, Norfolk, CT, and received by Mr. Robert Gilchrest, Allied Engineering Associates, Inc. Electronic copies of the Bid Package may be obtained via email request to Mr. Robert Gilchrest. Addenda will be issued to all Bidders registered with the Engineer's office and the Owner. The successful Bidder shall provide Performance, Labor, and Material Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum. Minority/Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply.
