Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kokomo, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This project consists of all labor and material to remove and replace existing pavement, curbs, and sidewalks on both sides of Cooper Street, including storm sewer and ADA compliant ramps at intersections plus full depth pavement replacement from Morgan Street to Gano St. All contractors submitting bids must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bids must be submitted on a Board of Works Approved Bid Form along with a financial statement. The contractor awarded the work will be required to furnish a performance bond in an amount equal to the contract amount before commencing work. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in submitting a bid, whichever is in the best interest of the City of Kokomo.
