Sealed bids are requested for the 2026 Sidewalk Replacement Project in Anderson, Indiana. Work and materials are to comply with requirements set by the Board of Public Works. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and must include the following properly executed documents: Itemized Bid Form, General Bid Form 96, a financial statement, a statement of experience, proposed plan(s) for performing the public work, equipment available, and a properly executed non-collusion affidavit. Bids must also include Bid Security (certified check or bid bond) equal to 10% of the total bid, City of Anderson Employment Eligibility Verification, a written drug testing plan, City certifications and forms for Non-Segregated Facilities, Non-Discrimination, Workforce Breakdown, and Affirmative Action. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in similar work is required for contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors. All workers must have documented legal citizenship or immigration status. Outstanding fees, inspections, or unresolved performance/quality issues with the City may deem a bidder non-responsive or non-responsible. The performance and labor/material payment bonds must be for 100% of the contract amount and remain in effect for 12 months after project acceptance. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days from opening. The Board of Works reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any and all bids. If any person contemplating submitting a bid for this work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Plans, Specifications or other proposed contract documents, he shall submit a written request to the Owner no less than ten (10) days prior to bid date for interpretation thereof
