The work concerns the general repair of the two (2) oldest wings of the building. The scope of work is as follows: Outdoor work: Work to be carried out in occupation, from the award of the contract until the end of November 2026 Work to be carried out during the summer period, starts on July 1st and ends on August 25, 2026 Interior works: Work to be carried out during the summer period, starts on July 1st and ends on August 25, 2026 Phase 1: Work to be carried out in occupation, begins during the summer period and continues until the end of September 2026 Phase 2: Work to be carried out in occupation, begins during the summer period and continues until the reception of the work with reserve Phase 3: Work to be carried out in occupation, begins at the beginning of October 2026 and continues until the reception of the work with reserve The Contractor has full responsibility for the work and its subcontractors. He must lead them and control them efficiently and safely. He is solely responsible for the means, methods, procedures and coordination of all parts of the Works under the contract. WORK SCHEDULE AND CONTRACT DURATION The Contract comes into force on the date mentioned in the notice of awarding of a contract or, failing that, on the day when the notice of awarding of a contract is issued to the CONTRACTOR by the PUBLIC BODY. The contractor must comply with the schedule prescribed in the CSSDGS tender documents. The main dates of the schedule are as follows according to the established sequences: - Start of work: from the award of the contract - - Taking possession of the work with reservation: November 30, 2026 - - Taking possession of the work without reservation: February 26, 2027 Given the nature of the contract, it remains in force as long as the CONTRACTOR has not carried out the Work to the satisfaction of the PUBLIC BODY and that there remain obligations of guarantee of these to be respected. SUBMISSION GUARANTEE The BIDDER must accompany its Submission with a tender guarantee equivalent to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the total price proposed in its Submission. This tender guarantee must be produced in the following form: - A bond issued in favour of the PUBLIC BODY by a Financial Institution as defined in clause 0.01.13 of the Régie, which must comply with the provisions of the model bid bond reproduced in Appendix 4.01A of the Submission Form.
