Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Glendive, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The work includes removal of fencing where needed and its replacement upon completion, saw cutting the slab between the basketball and tennis courts, and removal and disposal of concrete on the tennis court (to be indicated as a separate line item on the bid). Remove one foot of soil and dispose of it, then replace with road base material, fabric liner, and compact. Pour a minimum 3500 psi concrete slab, 5 inches thick and 10,000 sq. feet, using fiberglass rebar on two foot centers. All work must follow ACA guidelines. Use pickleball specifications with logo designs painted on the court to acknowledge donors (including 4 Stockman bank logos) and provide three separate stand-alone signs for other donors. Provide and install new nets and posts for four pickleball courts. The owner may choose to handle concrete removal, which will be discussed after contract award. Proof of Worker's Comp and Liability Insurance is required. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Labor and Industry. A Performance Bond and prevailing wages may be required as per MCA requirements. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, money order, or certified check of no less than ten percent of the total bid, and be submitted in a sealed envelope containing a complete copy of the bid and specifications, clearly marked.
