Remodeling of a playground / park / athletic field in Dothan, Alabama. Completed plans call for the remodel of a playground / park / athletic field.

The project consists of the design, procurement, installation, and removal of an old playground system, including fall zone material at Highlands Elementary School. The work includes designing a play system within the constructed play area boundaries, installation of commercial grade playground equipment, equipment footings, drainage materials, landing mats, and fall zone material. All equipment must be assembled and installed by the supplier. The price for removal will be bid separately and determined if awarded by the owner. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by Dothan City Schools (DCS) or copies thereof. No pre-qualification is required to bid. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive informalities in bidding, and be the sole judge of quality and desirability, awarding the contract to the most desirable bidder. The purchase is not based solely on low bid; quality and suitability to purpose are controlling factors, and the purchaser reserves the right to determine this by whatever means necessary. The right to purchase additional materials at the bid price, prior to shipment, is reserved by the Board of Education.
