Remodeling of an educational facility in Odenville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals, in duplicate, from qualified general contractors will be received for new flooring for Springville Elementary School. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to St. Clair County Board of Education in an amount not less than five percent of the proposal, but not exceeding $10,000, must accompany each bid. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance as required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the contract. All contractors must provide evidence of proper licensing before receiving plans and specifications. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the architect or copies thereof, and only general contractors on the official bidders list may submit bids. The bid must display the contractor's current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in their best interest. Drawings and specifications may be viewed at Alabama Graphics Digital Plan Room and general contractors may obtain digital or hard copies from the architect or document printer.
