Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Electronic bids will be received for the Porthouse Theatre Roof Replacement at 3143 O'Neil Road, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, in accordance with the contract documents prepared by BSHM Architects, Inc. Bids must be submitted through the State's electronic bidding service . Bidders may submit requests for consideration of proposed substitutions for specified products, equipment, or services no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening; approved substitutions will be issued by written Addendum. Bids must comply with the version of the "State of Ohio Standard Requirements for Public Facility Construction" included in the contract documents. Prevailing Wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements apply. The project is subject to the State of Ohio's Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) Business Development Program, with a 5.0 percent EDGE participation goal. The bidder must indicate where its services will be performed and affirm compliance with Executive Orders prohibiting purchases from or investment in Russian institutions or companies. Domestic steel use requirements, as specified in Ohio Revised Code Section 153.011, apply. Bidders are encouraged to be enrolled in and in good standing in a Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) Program approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, and if awarded a contract, must comply with SUPR criteria. The contractor is responsible for scheduling the project, coordinating subcontractors, and providing other services identified in the contract documents. Scope of Work: Complete tear-off of the existing roof membrane and recovery board, followed by the installation of a new roofing system, including but not limited to all associated metal flashings and copings. The project also includes the removal and reinstallation of select existing lightning protection system components. Additional work includes replacement of existing roof drains, scoping of the existing drainage system to verify proper function, and installation of a heat tape system to support longterm maintenance and performance.
