Description: The Improvements under this Contract consist of improving traffic signalization infrastructure. This work includes, but is not limited to, vehicular signal re-spans, pedestrian signal enhancements, and other traffic signal upgrades. The intent of this Contract is to provide means for the Department to quickly respond to unexpected safety and/or operational issues for a period of two (2) years or until Contract funding has been exhausted. The number of work documents for the contract will be limited by a budgetary cap of $1,500,000. This contract is for work only within Marion County, Florida. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the work in accordance with the work plan, specifications, procedures, and terms of the Contract. The DEPARTMENT will not specify contractor crew size, work methods or equipment complements, provided the desired work quality is achieved as evaluated by the Project Engineer. The work under this Contract will be controlled by the issuance of Work Documents. All work in this Contract is considered specialty work.
