The City of Ocala is seeking quotes from qualified Florida licensed General, Residential, or Building Contractors to demolish and remove a structure located at 4080 SW 29th PL ST, Ocala, FL 34474. The work includes demolishing and removing improvements, removing junk, and cutting and cleaning the lot. The contractor will provide all labor and equipment to complete the project. Bidders are encouraged to contact DKE Construction Services regarding the Asbestos Survey Report prior to bid submission and to visit the site. Contractors must submit proof of a current, active Asbestos Supervisor license, and have at least three years' experience in providing demolition rehabilitation services. An asbestos-trained person must be on site at all times as required by City of Ocala, NESHAP, and DEP regulations. Insurance requirements include Commercial General Liability with limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence/$2,000,000 aggregate, Commercial Automotive Liability with a combined limit of not less than $1,000,000, and Workers Compensation and Employer's Liability per Florida statutory requirements. Bids must be submitted on a lump-sum basis and include all costs necessary to complete the project, including travel, permitting, and disposal fees. The award will be made to the lowest bidder meeting all requirements. Permit allowance is $104.
