Site work for a civil project in Decatur, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project #1 involves constructing approximately 1,776 linear feet of 10" PVC sanitary sewer, approximately 225 linear feet of 8" PVC, installation of valves, manholes, lagoon cleaning, blowers, aeration system for lagoons, erosion control, electrical work, seeding, lift station upgrades, appurtenances, and related costs in the Village of Harristown. Project #2 includes installing approximately 25,354 linear feet of 6" PVC (including approximately 640 linear feet of 6" bore), lift station upgrades, and all appurtenances and related costs to transport waste from the Village of Niantic to the Village of Harristown's sewer treatment plant. Bidders are required to undertake specified affirmative efforts for disadvantaged business enterprises prior to bid opening and to comply with regulations including the Davis-Bacon Act, Build America Buy America Act, and President's Executive Order No. 11246, among others.
