The project consists of drainage and rebuilding work at the Greenwood Cemetery. Section 1.02 - The undersigned Bidder proposes and agrees , if this Bid is accepted, to enter into an Agreementwith DecaturTownship, MaconCounty, Illinois 62521(" Township" ) in the form attached, that incorporatesall of the terms herein to perform all Work as specified or indicated herein for the prices and with the times set forth . Article II . Scope of Work Section 2.01 - This Scopeof Work (" SOW" ) outlines the services, deliverables, and requirements for the Greenwood Cemetery Improvement Project ("Project"). The total project length is approximately 1,200 feet (0.25 miles ). This SOW defines the work to be performed by the contractor selected by the Township , if any , and establishes the rights and obligations of all parties involved in the Project . - Section 2.02 The Project consists of improvements to Greenwood Cemetery, located at 600 S. Church Street , Decatur , Macon County , Illinois , including and without limitation , topographic survey work , site development, and various surface improvements as detailed in the engineering plans prepared by SHP Engineers, LLC , a true and correct copy of which is attached and incorporated hereto as Exhibit A. The work shall be performed in accordancewith all applicable local , state , and federal laws and regulations . Section 2.03 - The scope of services to be provided by the lowest responsible and responsive bidder include the following : 1 . Site Development The lowest responsible and responsive bidder shall : (a) Implementthe site developmentplan as detailed in Exhibit A. (b) Perform all necessarygrading and earthworkoperationsto achievethe proposed grades ; (c) Install erosion and sediment control measures in accordance with applicable regulations; and (d) Coordinate with utility companies for any required relocations or adjustments. 2 . Surface Improvements The lowest responsible and responsive bidder shall construct the following surface improvementsin accordancewith the typical sectionsshown in the engineeringplans : ) Typical Section 1: install Hot Mix Asphalt (" HMA " ) surface over existing base and subgrade pavement mat . Typical Section 2 : install HMA surface and overlay over existing base with brick -lined gutter . Typical Section 2A : preserve existing brick -line gutter while installing HMA surface and overlay . Typical Section 2B : install HMA surface with appropriate base materials . Typical Section 3 : install HMA surface with brick - lined gutter . Typical Section3A : install HMA surfacewith appropriatetransitions. vii . Typical Section 4 : install HMA surface over existing base materials. Drainage Improvements Install lined ditches and drainage features as specified in Exhibit A. Construct riprap with geotextile overlay where indicated in Exhibit A. Install culverts and drainage structures where indicated in Exhibit A.
