Site work for a water / sewer project in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project primarily consists of improvements to an existing polymer feed system, including furnishing and installing two 330-gallon intermediate bulk containers with secondary containment, dual contained polyvinyl chloride (PVC) flexible braided tubing, schedule 80 PVC pipe, valves, furnishing and installing two new chemical metering pumps with secondary containment; connections to two existing polymer dilution units; all instrumentation and controls; and all incidentals and appurtenances. Bidders must submit sealed bids addressed to Jackson County Utility Authority and designated as Bid for: "PMP Polymer Feed System Improvements." All bids must be on file prior to the specified hour and date, sealed, and include the current Certificate of Responsibility Number for bids over $50,000, or be marked for $50,000 or less on the exterior of the envelope. Bid security is required as specified. Bidders must provide proof of qualifications. The instructions in the "Notice to Bidders" form part of the contract documents. The Jackson County Utility Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive technicalities, informalities, or irregularities in the bids received, solicit new bids, or accept the bid deemed to be in its best interest.
