Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Homer, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of constructing one 400,000-gallon pre-stressed concrete potable water storage tank with appurtenances, one valve vault, associated site work, and decommissioning of two existing steel water storage tanks. Separate bids will be received for General Construction and Electrical Construction. Bidders may submit independent bids for any or all schedules of work for which they are properly licensed. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed bid form and accompanied by bid security. The successful bidder must furnish any additional bonds required. Bidders and subcontractors must hold or obtain the necessary licenses as required by law. Bids will not be accepted from those barred from competing on public works projects. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, and wage requirements. Purchases are exempt from federal, state, or local sales tax; exemption certificates will be provided as needed. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids not conforming to bidding documents, or rebid the project at its discretion. Question Deadline 04/28/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
