Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chico, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids are required for the entire work of Fair Street Road Rehabilitation under the specified plans and provisions. The general work consists of establishing a Class II bike lane for improved connectivity, reconfiguring the roadway for improved traffic control, constructing sidewalks and landscape zones, and rehabilitating pavement using Full Depth Reclamation with Cement (FDR-C). Bids must be submitted on the provided bid form and be accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond executed by an admitted surety insurer for at least 10% of the total bid amount. This guarantee may be forfeited if the awarded bidder fails to enter into the contract. The Engineer's Estimate for the contract is $5,000,000. The project period is 85 working days. Bidders can obtain project documents through the Public Purchase on-line bidding service.
