Questions must be sent to the following email: Email: catherine.andersen@dot.ca.gov *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. 1. Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) alllabor, materials, parts, tools, supplies, equipment, disposal, travel, permits, fees, and incidentals necessary to renovate two (2) bathrooms as described herein. The services shall be performed at the North Hollywood Maintenance Station located at 11210 Moorpark Street, North Hollywood, CA 91602. A. Contractor shall remove approximately 1,200 square feet of composite floor tiles and replace with approximately 1,200 square feet of Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVF) of which shall be at least eight (8) millimeter (mm) thickness, a wear layer of at least 30 mil, and glue down. B. Contractor shall remove and replace approximately 360 linear feet (LF) of six-inch (6") baseboard. C. Women's Bathroom Contractor shall: 1) Remove approximately 190 square feet of PVC sheeting from the walls and replace in kind. 2) Remove three-foot by three-foot (3'x3'x3') existing fiberglass shower surround and replace in kind. 3) Remove and replace bathroom partitions. 4) Remove and replace with new: one (1) toilet, one (1) sink and fixtures, one (1) mirror, and shower fixtures. 5) Clean existing ceramic tile floors D. Men's Bathroom Contractor shall: 1) Remove approximately 230 square feet of PVC sheeting from the walls and replace in kind. 2) Remove three-foot by three-foot (3'x3'x3') existing fiberglass shower surround and replace in kind. 3) Remove and replace bathroom partitions. 4) Remove and replace with new: two (2) toilets, one (1) urinal, two (2) sinks and fixtures, one (1) mirror, and shower fixtures. 5) Clean existing ceramic tile floors. E. Contractor shall remove and replace approximately 27 four-foot (4') ceiling light fixtures and all corresponding LED bulbs. F. Contractor shall then paint both sides of the 12 interior doors and trim: Semi-gloss paint shall be used. Color shall be preapproved by Caltrans Contract Manager. G. Contractor shall paint approximately 4,500 square feet of interior walls and ceilings: Contractor shall make repairs where necessary. Contractor shall use a prime coat for interior walls and ceilings that has an acrylic base vinyl and is a different color than original paint color that is sufficient to detect adequate coverage by the finish coats. Interior surfaces to be painted shall use a semi-gloss coating. Color shall be preapproved by Caltrans Contract Manager. H. Contractor shall remove and replace five (5) 71"x34" aluminum window blinds.
