Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary for Hangar Rehabilitation at Grant Municipal Airport. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five percent of the total amount of the bid, by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Grant, Nebraska. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 90 calendar days from the date of bid opening for evaluation purposes. The City of Grant reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids. The project is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act, with required compliance to wage and labor provisions and payment of minimum wages in accordance with U.S. Department of Labor wage rates. Contractors must comply with all related federal wage, labor, and civil rights statutes and regulations, including the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and other relevant statutes. Additional applicable federal provisions include Buy American Preferences, Anti-Lobbying Amendment, and Solid Waste Disposal Act, among others.
