The purpose is to enter into a contract to provide conservation corps work according to Attachment B. The contract is anticipated to be awarded to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. The work must be completed by September 30, 2026, and the vendor must guarantee its pricing through the term of the contract. Description of Work: The successful corps will be familiar with and have prior experience constructing buck and rail fencing, working in high desert environments, and constructing trails in soft soils. The successful corps will also provide equipment, labor, and transportation needed to complete assigned tasks. General requirements include, but are not limited to: Work with BLM, project coordinator and staff, to ensure fencing is constructed in the correct locations. Provide chainsaws, other hand tools, as well as properly trained personnel to implement the work as outlined in the SOW for the project. Install parking bollards at each site providing future guidance to visitors. Familiarity with site accessibility, and jurisdictional boundaries at project site (this information will be included in project work plans). Able to provide replacement or follow-up resources if project timelines are delayed or postponed by weather or other conditions to ensure contracted tasks are accomplished before September, 30th 2026.
