This project is for Wilson Hall Roof Replacement. The project consists of removing the existing decking and 16,762 sf roof and installing a built-up roof system over the properly prepared substrate. Questions about obtaining plans and specifications may be directed to Darcie Liddle @ dliddle@murraystate.edu Substantial completion shall be 60 calendar days from the Start Date stated in the written Purchase Order. Final completion shall be 90 calendar days from the Start Date stated in the written Purchase Order. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Murray State University, Procurement Services, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all formalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the University may be served. Install built-up roof system over the properly prepared substrate. Installation will be of a modified membrane built-up roof system that consists of one base ply of modified membrane and a top ply of mineral surface modified membrane, a No VOC cold process adhesive. Contractor shall be responsible for the protection of all surrounding buildings, and equipment. Contractor will be responsible to repair all landscaping and land areas damaged by this project.
