Renovation of a medical facility in Brainerd, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 24,325-square-foot medical facility.
The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General Contracting, Carpentry, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Electrical, and Plumbing construction. Remove entire existing built-up roofing system of approximately 24,325 sf including insulation, sheet metal, etc. to expose existing concrete roof deck. Replacement includes roofing on 3 small canopies. Provide new vapor barrier, adhered insulation, and roofing membrane. Replace 8 original roof drain bodies and insulate on the interior. Replace 3 rooftop exhaust fans. This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the projects specifications and scope of work. It is highly encouraged potential responders review Section 00 73 16 Insurance Requirements as well as AIA A201, Article 11 of the solicitation before submitting a response. This Project has been designated to be awarded to a State of Minnesota Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. ONLY responses received from Contractors that are TG ED VO certified through the Department of Administration, Office of Equity in Procurement, will be considered. Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor, not as a Subcontractor, the work for at least three (3) contracts which have achieved Substantial Completion since January 1, 2021, for General Contracting Construction that involved similar project scope of work and size. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $430,000 or greater. Project Manager and Job Superintendent responsible for this project EACH has had at least three (3) years of experience with General Contracting Construction with similar scope and value to this project. Each of these contracts must have had a construction value of $430,000 or greater.
