Renovation of a library in Brainerd, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The scope of work includes an interior renovation of the Brainerd Public Library, converting the current maker space into 16 individual workstations and computers, replacing the current public computer space with a new conference meeting room, and overhauling storage capacity in the lower level by installing a high-density storage rack system with 14 mobile shelving units and 14 stationary units. Bids must be sealed, clearly marked on the lower left-hand corner with the project title, and include the name, address, and date and hour of opening. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, bid bond, U.S. Government Bonds (at par value), or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the Owner as a guarantee of contract execution and for furnishing Payment and Performance Bonds of One Hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount acceptable to the Owner. Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided in the project manual, and those not received on the Bid Form will be cause for rejection. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing time without Owner consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received. Any deficient bid submitted will be resealed and returned to the bidder immediately. Award is subject to final approval.
