The work consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to install five new concrete pickleball courts; complete with all grading, drainage, sidewalks, fencing, nets, striping, benches, lighting, and related items according to the specifications. Bids must include all labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the installation. The project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. All bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond of at least five percent of the lump sum bid. Performance Bonds and Payment Bonds equal to one hundred percent of the contract amount are required from the successful bidder prior to execution of contracts. Bid documents are only available from the designated engineering firm and all bidders must obtain their bid package from that firm to be eligible. The owner reserves the right to negotiate, reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept any bid in the best interest of the owner. The right to add or delete from the contract after award is also reserved. No bids may be withdrawn for 60 days after bid opening.
