The City of St. George is requesting proposals to drill a replacement well #6 at the Gunlock Well Field. The project also includes converting the existing well to a monitoring well. Every bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming the City of St. George as obligee. This bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George. A 100% performance - labor and materials bond will be required on this project. The City of St. George reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the interest of the city. Question Deadline 04/23/2026 at 2:00 PM MT Deadline to submit Questions Online Portal The proposed work consists of drilling a 24 inch Minimum diameter replacement well to a depth specified in the attached drawings and developing the well in compliance with rules and regulations R309 and R655 of the Utah Administrative Code. The work and requirements to be accomplished by the Contractor shall include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies and all other appurtenances necessary to complete the construction as specified. The completion of this contract shall include the installation of casing, development test pumping, and completing a well capable of receiving permanent pumping facilities.
