As of May 8, 2026, project is not yet awarded. Potential contractors must acquire the bidding documents through High Tide Environmental in order to be eligible to submit a Bid Proposal. The project consists of providing all materials, equipment, and labor required for the demolition of existing concrete sidewalks and steps at the Meadow Creek Manor Complex, Village Green Apartment Complex, and Valleyview Village Apartment Complex. The work includes framing, installation of support rebar, repouring, and finishing of new sidewalks and steps, as well as ancillary site restoration. Bidders must submit sealed bids using the official Bid Package obtained electronically from the office identified in the instructions. Sealed bids submitted using anything other than the official Bid Package will be rejected. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee equal to five percent of the bid price, either as a bid bond or a certified good faith check from a bank or surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth. The successful bidder must furnish acceptable Performance Bonding and Payment Bonding, each valued at one hundred percent of the contract amount, and carry various insurances including Workers' Compensation Insurance, with proof required. A mandatory pre-bid conference is required for all bidders, and only companies in attendance at this conference will have their bids opened. The owner reserves the right to complete the work in phases or award only a portion of the project, as well as to reject any and/or all bids and waive irregularities. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets or exceeds the criteria established within the contract documents. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after bid opening.
