Renovation of a transportation facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Renovations to the interior of the Terminal at the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport, which includes lighting, carpeting, baggage claim belt, and ticket and gate counters. All Contractors bidding on this work must comply with the State Licensing Law for Contractors and hold an active license in the classification of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. Bidders must submit a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. Bids must be firm for sixty (60) days and cannot be withdrawn except as allowed by law. Bidders are encouraged to utilize minority participation through small, disadvantaged, and women-owned businesses. Compliance with federal equal opportunity and affirmative action provisions is required. All information required by the bid forms must be supplied, including certification of nonsegregated facilities, and adherence to the Buy American Provision is mandated. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Any Bidder in doubt as to the accuracy, completeness, meaning or interpretation of any part of the Contract Documents shall submit to the Project Designer a written request for an interpretation thereof by 2:00 p.m. CDT on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
