Renovation of an educational facility in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Question Deadline 06/04/2026 at 5:00 PM CT Remove old and replace with new domestic water heater boilers at U. S. Jones Hall Dormitory, Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge Campus. Bidders must visit the site and be familiar with the local conditions under which the work is to be performed. No additional compensation will be granted because of unusual difficulties encountered in the execution of any portion of the work. Bids will be accepted from contractors licensed under the classifications of Building & Construction, Building Construction Support, Maintenance & Repair Service, Plumbing and Heating and Air Conditioning, and Boilers. Instructions to bidders: Attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit. Ensure all bids include the company’s name, address, Louisiana contractor’s license number, bid number, bid opening date and time. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent of the base bid and all alternates, in the form of certified/official check, cashier’s check, or bid bond. Successful proposer is required to furnish a performance (surety) bond. Bids may be withdrawn in writing before the bid opening time. The University reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any informalities. Evidence of authority to submit the bid is required. Participation in entrepreneur and veteran initiatives is encouraged. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt.
