Renovation of a swimming pool in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
Demolition and reconstruction of new Phase 1 pumps, variable frequency drivers, digital flowmeters, automation, remote controls, new regenerative media filtration, autofill devices, and jib cranes. Bids shall be firm for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids and no bid shall be withdrawn for any reason during this period except as allowed per law. Complete bid documents are available for purchase at the BREC Purchasing Department or in electronic format at www.bidexpress.com. Bidders are responsible for confirming submission of all documents and reproduction costs. Bids must be submitted electronically through Bid Express or as a paper bid in a sealed, opaque envelope endorsed with the project name and contractor's license number. Only contractors who have formally obtained a complete set of contract documents in their name will have their bids accepted. Bid form blanks must be duly filled in and no conditions or provisions should be attached. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid is required with each paper bid. Contractors must be licensed in the proper category. The successful bidder is encouraged to utilize minority participation to the extent possible.
