Recoat Upper / Lower Roof Location- 1050 Forest Hill Road, Staten Island, NY 10314 (Animal Colony) Approximately 9000 Sq feet of roof. 1. Remove all water, debris, moss and leaves from upper and lower roofing prior to andwork being performed. 2. All vendors to be certified by AcryLabs on system application. Only certified applicators can be used as subcontractors. Non-certified applicators will be prohibited from award of this project. 3. Roof to be pressure washed at 3500 psi minimum and prepped to manufacturers specification. Please see attached specs for details on acceptable cleaning agents. 4. Apply Acrylabs Asphalt Emulsion on all ponding, split and cracked surfaces 5. Apply and install AcryLabs System 50. Please see attached spec sheet. 6. Pitch pockets contain ACM material and cannot be disturbed. (they can be coated/encapsulated and made watertight) by using Acrylabs System 50 4-part system. 7. Vent stack tar coating is considered ACM and cannot be disturbed. (they can be coated/encapsulated and made watertight) by using AcryLabs system 50 complete 4- part system. 8. Vent stack tar can be encapsulated and made watertight. by using AcryLabs system 50 complete 4-part system. 9. Roofs to receive AcryLabs system 50 complete 4-part system. Basecoat, Fabric, and 2 coats of final coat. 10. Clean all drain collars without disturbing any tar or pitch. 11. Install new retrofit fast flow roof drain with collar prior to any coatings being installed. Please see attachment for type of sample collar to be installed. 12. Labor and material warranty on any leak(s) shall be for 2 years with Acrylabs responsible for the remainder of 8-year labor and material warranty, thus providing a 10-year warranty. 13. Warranty cost is 10 cents per square footage of job. 14. Clean up and removal of all debris to be done daily. Work must be completed within 30 days of receiving the purchase order Article 15-A defines an MWBE as at least 51 percent owned and controlled by minority or women members. Please note there is a mandatory scheduled site visit. When submitting your quote, be sure to include a cost breakdown (materials, labor, and overhead) where applicable and list number. The Institute for Basic Research intends to procure a roof repair (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority. Attendance at a site visit is mandatory prior to submitting a quote. If your company would like to be considered, please review the attached scope of work and any supporting documents.
