The purpose of this project is to install new emergency power supply systems at the Blackfeet Community Hospital and the Heart Butte Health Station to support required life safety and critical electrical loads. The work includes demolition and removal of two existing emergency power supply systems at the Blackfeet Community Hospital and installation of a single, new emergency power supply system capable of serving all code-required emergency electrical loads. At the Heart Butte Health Station, the work includes installation of a new emergency power supply system designed to support all electrical loads required by applicable codes. The project also includes replacement of aged, failing, and obsolete equipment to improve reliability and serviceability. All construction activities must be carefully coordinated with local medical and maintenance staff to minimize disruptions to ongoing patient care and facility operations. The overall objective is to bring both facilities into full compliance with life safety codes related to emergency power systems.
