Construction of a new approximately 26,000 sq. ft. parking lot and associated asphalt paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm water retention pond, and site lighting adjacent to the existing Blackfeet Community College South Wind Lodge facility in Browning, MT. Bids must include all items identified in the Project Manual. Contractors are responsible for downloading and using the entire set of bid documents. Bidders must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry and pay prevailing wages according to Federal or Montana standards, whichever is greater. The successful bidder must obtain a Blackfeet Tribal Business License within 30 days of Notice of Award. A 3% excise tax and a 4% Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) fee (on contracts over $100,000) apply. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond for at least 10% of the bid. Successful bidders must provide approved Performance and Labor and Materials Payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract. Required insurance must be provided. This project is subject to Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA), requiring all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used to be produced in the United States, except for specific waivers. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best interest of the Owner.
