2026 Countywide Hot Mix Asphalt Paving. Allows zero unit prices and labor: No. Allows negative unit prices and labor: No. This is a countywide hot mix asphalt paving contract involving road resurfacing across multiple Washtenaw County locations. Work includes cold milling, HMA placement, approach work, aggregate shoulders, and traffic control. May require MDOT prequalification, performance bonds, and living wage compliance. A certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid price, payable to the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC), is to accompany each proposal. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. Bidders shall submit for all of the described work, provided they are qualified to perform the services described. All contract work shall be completed by Friday, October 30th, 2026. The successful bidder shall furnish performance and lien bonds each for not less than one hundred (100) percent of the total contract price with the requirements set for in subsection 102.16 of the MDOT 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction.
