The Town of Winhall seeks proposals from qualified contractors for custodial/cleaning services at municipally-owned facilities. The contractor is responsible for all supplies, travel, fuel, equipment, insurance, and related expenses required for the work. The contractor must ensure equipment is safe and working, and is accountable for all employment-related contributions or taxes. Responses should include a cover letter, resume or list of qualifications, employee list (if applicable), references (minimum of three), and proposed fee structure with explanation. Scope of work includes: - 115 Vermont Route 30 (Town Offices - Floors 1 and 2): Weekly cleaning after 1:00PM. Tasks: empty waste/recycling, dust and vacuum, clean light fixtures, disinfect bathrooms, mop and sweep, replenish supplies, clean mats, remove cobwebs, sterilize door handles, sweep steps/ramp, monthly baseboard cleaning, biannual fin vacuuming. - 107 Vermont Route 30 (Fire Department): Monthly cleaning. Tasks: similar to above, adjust to location. - Memorial Library: Weekly cleaning. Tasks: similar to above, sweep entrance. - 64 Old Town Road (Town Garage): Weekly cleaning after 2:00PM. Tasks: dust, vacuum, disinfect bathrooms. - 3 River Road (Community Center): Weekly cleaning. Tasks: dust, vacuum, clean fixtures, disinfect bathrooms, mop/sweep floors, replenish supplies, clean mats, remove cobwebs. Proposals will be evaluated based on experience, background, and ability to perform services at an affordable price. Cost is not the sole factor. The Town of Winhall reserves the right to reject incomplete or late proposals, or those not meeting specified criteria, and may seek clarification from contractors after review.
