The Town of Winhall is seeking proposals for the purchase of winter road sand for use within the Town of Winhall, Vermont. The requirements are for a per yard price for 14mm screened sand, delivered to the stockpile on Old Town Road in Winhall. An estimated 3,000 yards is anticipated, to be in place by September 1, 2026, with possible additional sand needed during the winter months on an "as needed" basis. A potential auto-renewal for a second year is also noted, with a similar estimated quantity. Product samples will be taken by Town personnel, and vendors intending to submit a bid should email the Road Foreman to schedule sampling in advance of the deadline. Proposals should include a letter of interest, a description of the approach to delivering the sand, documentation of relevant experience and qualifications, including a list of municipalities currently supplied, and a fee structure showing the price per unit for sand delivered to the Town Garage stockpile.
