Renovation of a library in Winhall, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Town of Winhall is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the replacement of the roof on the Memorial Library on Lower Taylor Hill Road within the Town of Winhall, Vermont. The work includes two options: Option #1: Shingles - Remove existing shingles and dispose of old shingles. - Install 1.25" drip edge around perimeter of roof. - Install ice and water barrier on entire roof. - Install vented ridge cap. - Install professional-grade architectural shingles (color chosen by Town). - Install flashing at chimney and bathroom vent boot(s). Option #2: Cold Roof - Remove existing shingles and dispose of old shingles. - Install roofing underlayment, 3" ISO board, 2x4 sleepers, 1/2 CDX plywood. - Install ice and water barrier on entire roof. - Install vented ridge cap. - Install new shingles. Proposals from interested parties must be received by the Winhall Town Administrator. Submissions must be emailed to: townadmin@winhall.org.
